RELECO, S.A. was the leading spanish company specialized in the design, manufacture and marketing of relays, sockets, timer modules and related accessories for industrial applications. RELECO was founded in 1962. Was a team of more than 200 professionals, with facilities of 5,000 m² based in Alcorcón (Madrid, Spain). Their export activities started in 1972 and they was represent the 80% of the total production. It was present in 60 countries supplying more than 5,000,000 relays per year. The company RELECO SA was acquired by Comat AG, Switzerland in April 2006 and in May 2013 made it bankrupt. After that, the factory was purchased by a Spanish industrial group (Relaygo Components SL) and following the production of the genuine RELECO relays up to middle 2016. Currently the new relays carry the combined brand ComatReleco.
